Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to enroll for the full series, or can we try a single session?
You can absolutely start with a single workshop like our Money Foundations session. Many families do this to see if the approach works for their child before committing to longer programs.
My child has never learned anything about finance. Is that okay?
Completely okay. Most participants come with little to no prior knowledge. We start from the basics and build from there.
What if my teenager is resistant to the idea?
That's common. We've found that once they realize it's not a boring lecture and actually connects to their interests, resistance fades quickly. If you're concerned, reach out—we can suggest the best approach for reluctant learners.
Are parents allowed to attend sessions?
For the younger age groups (8-12), parents are welcome to observe. For teenagers, we've found they engage more openly when parents aren't in the room. The Family Money Conversation Starter is specifically designed for parents and children together.
Do you offer refunds if my child can't attend?
We have a flexible rescheduling policy. If you need to cancel, contact us at least 48 hours in advance and we'll move you to the next available session. Full details are in our terms of use.
Can you accommodate children with additional learning needs?
Yes. Let us know in advance so we can ensure the session is appropriately adapted. We've worked successfully with children who have ADHD, dyslexia, and autism spectrum conditions.
